For the last forty years, he has gained even more industry knowledge and experience in terms of converting adhesive tape products. Some of this knowledge has been put to use developing high-performance tapes designed to be employed in extreme environments, whether in regard to chemicals or temperatures. Backing materials range from polyimides to UHMW to PTFE® and are available with acrylic adhesive (350°F) as well as high-temperature silicone (500°F).
